The no-app family experience
How do families log in without an app?
They get a secure link by email and tap it. No app store, no account to create, no password. It works on any phone, tablet, or computer that can open an email.
Do parents need a smartphone?
No. Anything that opens an email works, so grandparents, secondary guardians, and families with older devices are never locked out. Every family gets the same simple link.
Is email-based access secure?
Yes. Each link is unique to that guardian and time-limited, and your center can grant or revoke any guardian's access at any time. Sensitive data is encrypted and backed up daily.

Do I have to open the website every time?
No. Seedling runs in your browser, so there's nothing to install, but you can add it to your home screen on iPhone or Android in a couple of taps. Then it opens with one tap, just like an app. Your staff can do the same on their phones.

Does my price go up as I enroll more children?
No. $40 a month is flat, no matter how many children or staff you have. Most platforms charge per child, so a 40-child center can easily pay $200 to $400 a month. With Seedling, growing your center never grows your software bill.
Are there extra fees for payments or e-signatures?
E-signed agreements are included free. For tuition payments you pay standard Stripe processing plus a small Seedling fee: just 0.4% per card payment, or a flat $0.30 per bank (ACH) payment. You choose whether your center absorbs it or passes it to families, and there are never any per-child fees.
How are you so much cheaper than the other apps?
We're not built for enterprise chains, so we skip the sales teams and feature bloat those platforms price you for. We kept the product focused on what a center actually uses every day, which means one honest flat price instead of a quote that climbs every time you add a child.

How do you protect children's information?
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, stored on infrastructure with recognized security certifications, and isolated so each center only ever sees its own families. You control which staff and guardians can access what. We never sell data or use it for advertising.
Does Seedling use AI? Does my data train AI models?
No. We don't build AI features, and your families' information is never used to train AI models. Childcare runs on trust, so your data stays yours, full stop. And when you need help, a real person answers, not a bot.
What happens to my data if I leave?
It's yours. You can export your records at any time, and we provide a window to export after cancellation before anything is removed.
